[Costco] Motorola Edge+ Costco.ca @ $1000.

While this isn't as hot as the 25% off the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, Costco.ca now has $500 off for the Motorola Edge+ 5G...

It's something to look at and great return policy just in case :)

I didn't even know about this phone which looking at the specs compares to flight ships like the s20 series. I'm a big camera guy so would be interested to know how this camera compares to other. I have the Samsung s 20-plus and use gcam because stock Camera is not great

It uses the same 108mp sensor as the s20 ultra and mi 10

The software is garbage though

If you're spending that much money on a used note 10+ you are crazy

You're also getting a much worse phone

Pretty much S20+ with bigger battery, headphone jack, s20 ultra cameras (but not as good), lower price. Cons: Software not as good and bunch of bloatware. I would get OnePlus instead.

Good price but not for me. I've had too many bad experiences with Motorola (things like ghost touch, charging issues and awful update support). I don't consider them to be that much different from the phones you order from China anymore (other than the Costco support).

In a way, I really want these brands to succeed, Motorola, LG, Microsoft, and even Google etc... It's the only way to get value in phones for a fraction of the cost, and undercutting the big dogs flagship. The LG G8x for example at $500 with 2 years warranty is honestly an amazing value phone. I feel Google finally have the right idea with the 4a, budget value phone with an amazing camera.

I do too, and honestly, based on my experience only (I've used Moto G, G4 Plus, G4 Play, G5 and X4), Google and LG are leaps and bounds ahead of Moto. Google is probably my preferred manufacturer right now. Maybe high-end Moto phones are better (I've only really used their mid-range and budget handsets), but you're also risking more of your money to find out. Two (at least, maybe 3) of those phones became entirely unusable because of the ghost touch issue, nothing to do with specs.

Google have all the money and resources to succeed and yet they make one mistake after another and dump more than half of the stuff they create. Tell me other than their cameras, is there anything worth they're making as of right now? Even the 4A has issues such as no IP rating and below-average battery life. Google is just as guilty if not even more of raising the prices needlessly. Remember the "Nexus" brand and how much it cost? As soon as they came up with the "Pixel" brand, prices almost doubled. LG on the other hand did so many innovations, but sadly abandoned them all one after another. The future looks like only Samsung, Apple and one or two Chinese brands unfortunately.
