OP never said it was active volcano hot, so it's technically correct! :)

If OP simply didn't use volcano term, there'd be a lot less downvotes and more upvotes.

It is a good deal, gonna try to find it instore or if someone can verify as it would be lower instore if available

Nice set but the lids are garbage and will crack very fast.

Other than dough which you put in the oven to proof, what are you putting in the oven that stays in a mixing bowl?

Ceramic and this glass bowl not been used at home and taking up storage space and with kids at home it’s extra stress to take care of this. Stainless steel is very practical and easy to handle and stack up very well.

It is oven safe if you want to casually heat up food, but just follow basic Pyrex rules (Google) i.e. don't throw it from the fridge to 400F...... no one is asking you to broil nachos!!

Picked one up for bread proofing and meat marinading. Stainless steel mixing bowls never have lids and I'm always caught wasting saran wrap that doesn't stick well on steel anyways ...

These are great for storing big pots of Soup/Chili. Always use them...used them when we had parties and made dips in them. Toss the lid on and put in fridge after.

If they’re the same as the older bowls with the blue lids. Great deal.

Ordered. A great deal. They're too big for use as prep bowls but I can use them for M-Waving pasta sauce and other things that stain and letting bread rise.

Thanks OP!

This is a fantastic deal especially with free shipping.

The only thing with this is the lids probably won't last too long. Ordered anyways thanks! Upvoted

It's not really here nor there but Fuji is actually an Active Volcano
Mount Fuji is an active stratovolcano that last erupted from 1707 to 1708.[4][5] The mountain stands about 100 km (62 mi) southwest of Tokyo and is visible from there on clear days.
