We have a Nardi set (table and 8 chairs) that we bought from Costco about 5 years ago. Certainly very good quality, the set is pretty much still perfect (cover with a tarp each winter). I would recommend this brand to anyone, best outdoor furniture we have ever bought, worth the extra money we spent vs. other options available out there.

Would assume these chairs by Nardi are also well built and durable....

Not the same animal, but they sure do resemble the $16 IKEA Adde chairs

Can the Janinge be kept outside? Are they comfortable? I got the Saltholmen chairs for my balcony they are beautiful but in reality they are uncomfortable and hard heavy metal. I need a better alternative, or even a folding chair that is more comfortable.

Ya, that Saltholmen chair looks like it was taken from an interrogation room, or ready to be thrown off a balcony. I wouldn't expect it to be comfortable.

The Janinge is comfortable enough for us as a dinner chair, can be stacked, and doesn't have any exposed metal to oxidize. Easy to wipe down completely and keep clean. Only down side for outdoor use might be discolouration from UV rays. I actually think they used these in the Ikea restaurant.

Yes, I assume most people are using them outdoors. I recently bought and have placed them outside, but have not yet gone through a season with them.

The Costco description of a bistro set from this manufacturer describes it as for indoor and outdoor use:

nanyte wrote: I bought the 8 chair with expandable table a few months ago through Costco. I am sitting on one of the chairs right now. Very solid and comfortable. It is not a plastic chair in the sense of those ones with the weak legs. I don't see the set on their website, but it was actually shipped to me from a company called Bum Contract Equipment, so they may have some left.
Wondering which table was it? And the same Bora chairs? Thanks.

Only found chairs and not the table. I don't want to buy one without the other.
Uh, yeah, I'd like to speak to a Mr. Tabooger, first name Ollie.
