Sure you can but it doesn't look as nice. Also this is red oak. And it's $10, probably not going to break the bank for most of us. I prefer this style of scraper to the wire scrapers generally and like the way it looks/feels.

SuperStore has Tera Gear brush, the bristles are made of wood. Not so durable but it works.

I normally clean it with that first followed by wood plank to make sure nothing is stick to grill . IMO this wood plank doesnt clean to my standard.

Save your money. This scraper will not clean your grill properly. It will lose its edge after your first scrape. Cannot stand mine.

Not quite, but pretty close. Once you've got the grooves burnt it, it's pretty effective.

Don't wash it though. Just wipe the gunk off.
