isn't "worthwhile" subjective?

Based on a quick look it eems like each item incurs a delivery fee of $3-$5 compared to the in-store counterpart.

I suggest buying 1 or 2 big tag items than multiple small ones.

Only if it's been inactive for 18 months or longer. It's all in the fine print in the image on the first post.

I'm not sure what they look for when deciding on if an applicant is "new" or not. You can always try, especially if you have a partner or someone with a different name and phone number? I'm guessing if you sign up with the same name/address/ph# as your old membership they'll just link the two and you either will (or won't) qualify depending on the 18 month rule. Might want to call and see how long yours has been inactive for if you think it might be around that time frame.

The promo code COSTCOMVMEX seems to only give $0.01 - Did CostCo end the offer before the promised 1/29 date.

The 0.01 just mean the code is valid. You will receive a separate email for the code.
If I buy something that is not in deep discounted, my father will punish me; everyone will laugh at me. I will be the strange kid who doesn't fit in.

Yes, I got the $60 credit ~1 month after signing up for both on the same day. Oddly, I didn't even spend any money on the CIBC card at that point, just got the $60 credit so have a -$60.00 balance owing on the CIBC card heh.
