Don't take this to your next BC Bike Race, but I bought one and think that it is a perfectly adequate bike for commuting, going to school and dirt trails, which is the kind of thing that most kids will use this for.danascully wrote: ↑ Fake mountain bikes yes

Since most people riding them are fake mountain bikers anyways this bike will do just fine.danascully wrote: ↑ Fake mountain bikes yes

From what I can tell, they don't have front suspension. So, I'd guess the geometry is more akin to an urban / hybrid commuter than a mountain bike. In this price range, it's actually better that they don't have a front suspension as the fork would be extremely low end, offer limited in functionality, and be very heavy. Unless you ride rough terrain, rigid bikes are preferable in my experience.

You think that most kids are fake mountain bikers, as in these 8 year olds are all trying to trick you into thinking they are mountain bikers when they're not?PanchoVilla wrote: ↑ Since most people riding them are fake mountain bikers anyways this bike will do just fine.

Bud it's a 24" kids bike, relax. Your kid has a Santa Cruz for cruising the hood with the homies, eh?danascully wrote: ↑ Fake mountain bikes yes
