Costco has Northrock SR1 700C Road Bike on sale for 499.99$ (100$ off.

What do you think? Worth of the price?
I am looking for an aluminum/carbon road bike with disk brakes but I am not sure if I could find something like that in this price range.

Sounds like a great build for the money. Only good for up to 5' 10", maybe even a bit less.

I didn't try it and can't vouch for its quality, but for alu + carbon fork mounted with Sora, it's cheap.

I just bought one rode for 3 days then the kenda tire started showing a weak spot and the tire bulged. Called northrock customer support and less than 24 hours later I have a new tire.

Nope, one size. Sadly I had to return mine as it just felt too tiny for me. I'm 6'1" and I felt like I was mounting a chihuahua.

The specs say it will fit most people 5'7-6'1, but I haven't seen any in store to try out. Will this fit someone 5'6?

I’m 5’7 barely have any clearance when standing, I had move seat up as well. It is do able but might not be best. Worst case you can return it.

i have mine from last year and its a great bike. unless you ride often in the rain you dont really need disc brakes. they just add additional weight. just swap out the stock brake pads for the R55C4 ones from shimano and it should be solid

This would be preferably for someone between 5 '8" to 5'10, unless you like riding small bikes .

I am 5'6" and bought a used model from previous years (red accents on the frame). I have been riding around Vancouver for a few days and it is doable for someone my height however be aware that you will be riding while constantly leaning fully forward and *just* within reach of the shifter/brake levers on the hoods. The top tube/crotch clearance is not an issue, I've ridden bikes with much higher top tubes and you learn to adjust. I'm gonna move the seat to be in the forward most position and angle the handlebar lower so the drops are better within reach. This is not the ideal size for my height and somebody with a weak back may have issues, but it's a great bike, amazing value and still rideable. I definitely don't recommend this to anybody shorter than 5'6".

Also FYI, those bright accents can be removed from the wheels (stickers) but not the frame..
