for sawing or drilling, neither stacks up to the workmate 425 or even the wm225.

I've had the Worx Pegasus for a few years, it's pretty useful for cutting things, but you can't stand on it or hammer things with a mini sledge on it. It's light and easy to move around, sometimes I pick it up and move it with stuff clamped on it still or tools sitting on top.

Just got the Omni from costco today and it is heavy, you don't be moving this around without folding it down. I'd feel comfortable hammering away on something on the Omni, but it lacks clamping options and doesn't have deep enough storage organizers that you can store stuff in it and still slide something across.

If this is your only work bench/step platform I'd get the Omni, with the creeper as bonus. The creeper is why I got it.

If you already have step platforms and some sort of saw horse I'd go for the Pegasus.

Why do you say so? Because of the gap in the middle that can be tightened down? I agree the workmate and this Costco Omni don't really line up, but the Pegasus and Workmate seem to have similar functions.

Saw this work bench at Costco Mississauga North location. This was earlier discounted to 99.97 which was a fair price, but at 79.97, seems like a good deal.

well, long story short, I have this table for about a month, I once stood on it (I am light weight) and one leg collapsed.

3 words, do not buy.

I'm planning to buy, but I am not lightweight so I guess I won't be standing on mine :(.. Thanks for the warning... I guess 3 in 1 work table is still good.

Did you stand on it with the legs extended like you show in your pics? I believe they're supposed to be pushed in for platform mode.

Looks like the legs were extended based on the pictures. The platform mode should only be used with the legs retracted.

Thanks for the warning too. I was interested in scaffolding feature for washing the van and trimming hedges.

I had seen on in store and it was pretty wobbly assembled and fully extended. Maybe it was mistreated in store or misassembled... just opted not to get it.
