[Costco] Omron® BP-786 : Digital Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor Plus Bluetooth® Smart Technology- Free Ship - 67.99

This is a well known BP monitor. This is the cheapest price around. It goes on sale at Costco and saw this same price last year.
I have not seen this model in the store. In-store model is 769 ( I think that is Seris 7 and is cheaper than 786 ( Series 10)
The advantages of this model - It takes 3 readings and averages them. This is a more accurate way of reading the BP. Secondly, this model also has Bluetooth functionality.

Shipping is free as well.

You can see youtube review here

Great product and works well with the iPhone Health app to keep track of your blood pressure.

I'm 70% sure I saw it cheaper in-store though but remember exactly how much it was.

Bluetooth syncs data with Health app on iphone (and maybe androids too)
AC adapter plugged in readings are more reliable IMHO
Using for more than 1 year.

Usually $59.99.
59.99 is the price for series 7 and not series 10
The model in store is 769-CAN ( Series 7 ) and not 786 ( Series 10)
Not a huge difference between the two but the tru read is what makes seris 10 stand out. https://www.omronhealthcare.ca/blood-pr ... son-chart/
The one in the chart is 761 is similar to 769 except that 769 includes the adaptor.

Edit: I recently was looking for getting one BP cuff. My friend who is a doc recommended this. I called all the Costco stores in Toronto and Ottawa and none of them had 786.. They only had 769
I orderd one and used 25$ online coupon that I got with new membership.

How often Should we replace this thing? I got one for my mum 10years ago, it’s still working. Should I replace it for a new one?

Yes you can. You can also sit in the electronics section and watch your favourite sitcom too.

A very good machine to have (not this particular one, as I've never used it, but a BP machine, in general).

Something that can be asymptomatic, and deadly. Worth a check every once in a while, just to make sure it's not creeping up.

Thanks OP.

My sister needed one and saw this online but decided to go to the store and get it.
She specifically wanted the 786 as it is for the arm while the 769 is for the wrist.
Now, she never took it out of the package so I'll need to ask her if she got the arm band one (786). o-O
She said it was 59.99.
I think it also has to be a Canadian certified one (CAN model) not FDA or you won't get reimbursed by insurance.
Thanks for bringing this up.

769 is for the arm... At least the one that is sold at Costco store comes with an arm cuff
