This thing is worth it!
Helps me relieve back pain.
Very portable and a fraction of the cost of similar devices. With the costco warranty it’s a no brainer.. buy one!

I just returned Dr. Ho because it’s almost a 100 more.

I’m seriously contemplating this one vs spending the 50 ish for one off Amazon.

I like the idea of having two separate pads so I can place them exactly where I want. This one looks as if you are limited to one large pad.

"2 long-life pads (standard size) and 2 long-life pads (large size), with pad holder" are included.

I’ve had this model the past 2 years and it’s great! The only thing I wish it had was the option to have the display to be briefly backlit. Not a dealbreaker at all though, but still…

I ordered one earlier today - but wanted to know how long do the gel pads last?

They can be washed and last pretty long but really depends on how often you use it. Mine got alot of use almost 2-3 times a week in the first year. Had it for 3 years now and the large pad just started to give out.

Costco also sells the replacement pads which go on sale periodically usually at the same time the device is on sale.

My answer would also be along the lines of what Phaelen wrote. I did buy spares in the meantime during a sale, even though my original pads were still good -- especially because with my luck in buying good stuff in the past (especially through Costco), just when I need extras of whatever [item], they wouldn't be around or would be discontinued.
With these or anything else health-related -- and the intention of using them very long term -- I figure that if there's another sale I'd still get another set of pads to add to my spare supply (or heck, even another 'back-up' device).
