Not sure if the Canadian Tire has the screen room? Walmart does.

I have 3 tents I've used for many years and recently bought one with a screen room. Never again would I buy a tent without a screen room, no matter the discount. It's amazing how useful it is to store many items you'd typically store in the tent itself

What do you guys do for rain? I need something that’s a lot better at holding water out. My current escort tent from 6yrs ago is crap during rain, I have to place a big tarp over to keep the rain out.

Edit: Tents are A LOT more expensive than they were when I purchased mine. I’d say almost all brand have have doubled in pricing.

Tarp over is probably your best bet. These 6+ ppl tent is for car camping and wouldn't expect it to perform like a 2 person backpacking tent.

I'd suggest you want a tent that prioritizes its weather resistance, and rely on user reviews for this rather than gimmicky marketing material. I have a woods tent I purchased from Sail, it was on clearance for $300 like 8 years ago. Its still solid as a rock, though some leaking now in the vestibule area at the seams for the window. I'll probably just spray that part with this stuff so its good for another season: https://takeoutdoors.com/camping-gear/t ... nt-sprays/

Absolutely no leaks in the tent, and we have had some storms its been through.

Honestly, I have never cheaped out on a tent and have never had to worry about rain or keeping water out. Every 2 years or so I typically pull out my tent (eureka bella coola 4) and re-seal the seams and apply a waterproof coating to it. Never looked how often people recommend it, just kinda did it.

Looks like a good tent however I would like to know how waterproof that screen room is. It looks like rain fly is short also.
