[Costco] OVE 24”x32” Mina Medicine Cabinet on sale in store for $99.99 until April 3rd/22

We’re doing a bathroom Reno and I’ve been on the lookout for a new medicine cabinet. This one is quite large and should fit the bill for us.

I’ve had my eye on this since early march when it was originally listed at $169.99 both online and in store (I’ll include a pic of the original price)

It’s now listed online for $149.99 (so i guess it’s been reduced?) :

https://www.costco.ca/ove-mina-medecine ... langId=-24

but i saw it in store (mississauga Dixie/Dundas location) for $99.99 until this Sunday (April 3rd)

Online reviews seem very positive.

I saw it in the store, and the sides are sort of ugly. I think because it can be installed recessed into the wall.
Does the box include covers for the sides when not used recessed ?
Thanks

Yes, the sides are removed for recessed installation. If you look at the pics in the Costco link you can see how the sides look with a surface installation:

There’s a front mirror (the online pic makes it look white but it is indeed a mirror).

Just got mine and installed myself. Fairly easy to do, looks good. Would recommend for anyone looking for one.

Mind posting a pic? Would be nice to see a real life shot of the finished product installed

We went with a tall and narrow ikea cabinet with frosted glass door beside the vanity. It fits a lot more stuff and looks better.

This is kind of ugly in my opinion but to each their own

Took a quick photo after install, don't mind the holes from my old mirror. That's going to get patched up.

Does anyone know if the mounting holes are 16" apart and if it allows for adjustment (eg. if the wall studs aren't centered)? I figure, with a 24" wide cabinet, there should be 4" on either side to allow for adjustments?

This may be the last day for the in store sale price (unless Costco extend it…)

I picked one up today, but am on the fence about installation, and can't seem to find the manual online. Can you tell me if the mounting points are "fixed", or can different widths be accommodated. If I can't put this into studs, its going back (so i don't want to open the package).

The bar bracket goes on the bottom, it can be anywhere along the bottom edge, there is a groove that it sits in, I mount one end of the bar into a stud and the other one using an anchor provided.

The 2 angle brackets goes on the top, you slide it in from the middle and then one on the left and one on the right, you can adjust each to wherever the stud is. I use one on the stud and the other one using an anchor. I think it's fine.
