These balls are garbage if you are a semi-serious player

Regular tennis players actually frown upon these balls. These are great value for tennis balls, but they don't hold their bounce/pressure very well. Multiple reviews out there mentioning how the manufacture packages these sub-par balls specifically for sale at Costco.

Not the best, but half the price of others. What do you suggest?

You can't go wrong with Pro Penn Marathon, or Wilson US Open. The former is usually better value.

This is totally true. Multiple cans contain dead balls upon opening and they have zero durability. Spend the extra money and buy Penn Pro Marathon extra duty.

My take is if you are a semi serious player you should use the Wilson US open balls or the Penn Pro .....I personally prefer Wilson's

If you buy a case from Sporting Life, they give you a significant discount ......
