[Costco] Philips Multigroom 7000 all in one trimmer *$49.99*

Semi hot/warm deal. Retails for about $85 on Amazon and $75 at Walmart.

Shows $54.99 on Costco's site but it's $49.99 in store (spotted at Heartland Costco). Saw a few in stock at Heartland Costco.

Doesn't look to be waterproof.
I need a replacement to shave some important bits in the shower because my old one died.
Looks like I'm fixing instead.

Great trimmer. Got it on sale $40 at Costco last month so might be worth to wait for a dip in price.

Solid little trimmer. Highly recommended. Feels sturdy, with a little heft to it, and does an outstanding job on the beard and the dome. Can't comment on the important bits...

If you can wait, it was $35 at Amazon in November. I believe they adjusted to match Walmart or similar. At that price, I would argue it's a no-brainer for the do-it-yourselfer.

This is waterproof.
Walmart use to have this set for $34.96. That's where I got mine from.

Got mine from Walmart for 35$, certainly can't complain for the price.

A 5 min charge that can give you 30 mins of use is a godsend when you've been putting charging off for too long. Ever been stuck with half the job done, no charge and no time? I have. You don't want that! Face With Tears Of Joy

Is it really?

Their damn website says:

Fully washable trimmer can be easily rinsed under the tap The trimmer and all of its attachments are fully washable, so simply rinse them under the faucet for easy cleaning.

But that reads to me that only the head should be contacting water, not the entire body.

EDIT: Even the manual only mentions rinsing and nothing about body contact.

Ok seriously Philips... you do realize there's more than 1 number in the universe.

Why would you name two razors with the model number of 7000?

Turns out I have a Multigroom 7000 as well but it looks nothing like this one.

Oddly enough, it doesn't mention waterproof on their website, but the manual does specifically say waterproof for mine.
I disassembled mine and the innards are mostly sealed so it looks like it'd be waterproof.

I did some quick googling but I can't find any disassembly videos/instructions for this so I have no idea what the innards look like.
I'm still suspicious as to whether this is actually waterproof because everything I can find about this says "washable"
