[Costco] Playstation 5 Bundle in stock at store (YMMV)

Retailer:: Costco

I searched but didn't see a thread for this. It's my first time seeing the PS5 available at Costco in store vs typically available online. The cards were laying flat on a table near the tablet display. A great last minute present if you're still looking for one

Saw it the Hunt Club location in Ottawa today at 2pm

Scalpers already hit most of these stores. They're calling big boxes daily.

You will eventually find one.

When I was there, most people just walked by the cards. It's a very weird way to display them along with their location. Probably your best chance at buying one and having it in hand before Christmas. Most likely other locations in Ontario have stock too as when I told my brother, he whipped over to Costco in Ajax and picked one up. Cards were displayed at the tablet area there too, didn't say how many were left though.

Agreed, don't encourage scalping, PS5 hasn't matured with enough games yet. Enjoy switch or PS4 for now and be patient if scalper happen to devour the stock in a store near you.

Why are people so excited about getting a 1 year old PS5 console for christmas when it was released LAST Year on XMAS, and if you had wanted it ASAP, you should have PRE-ordered it and it would have eventually came in. Even in summer I was able to walk into gamestop and find a PS5. I guess it's the craze for an xmas gift that makes it insane and thus scalping is happening. Same thing happened in 2020 with the Switch.

series x or ps5?

I have a xbox once x and a one s plus purchased a series x but have not opened to use it yet. So i have gamepass and about 120 games on disk but use to love my ps4 untill i sold. So is it worth getting a ps5 or just sticking with series X?

PS5 is totally worth it for the backwards compatibility. Especially if you had a giant backlog of ps4 games and didnt get to play them during the ps4 life cycle. Now you can buy them for cheap and get them patched or upgraded for higher resolution/framerates.

Unless you absolutely love Halo, Playstation just has better exclusives.

Best buy at Marche Centrale had received quite a few PS5 units on Monday. While I was there (total of about 20 minutes), I saw at least 25 units being purchased. They had not put them on the floor, you had to ask the "ISPU" counter and they would bringing them all out from the back, handing it to a sales associate and then punching it up for you. I had no idea that they were so hard to get, I would have picked one up if I knew

Probably all gone by now, but you never know.

I picked one up in Kitchener last night. They had the controller box in the watch display cabinet as the advertisement that they had the system in stock. The clerk said they received 10 first thi g I the morning and I got the second last one at 8 pm. $779 for the Ratchet and Clank bundle.

For YEG'ers, don't count on South Edmonton location. I just came back from there an hour, 3:30PM MST, ago. I came by the electronic area to check for the usb drive. I am certain there was nothing; otherwise, I'd take one package as I'd like to buy one for the kids Xmas too. Wallet safe, needless to say.
