I also got a set of these last year. They do not launch well at all. I can barely imagine them reaching 6ft let alone 20. The sound and concept is neat but it doesn't work terribly well.

You're better off to buy these when they're on sale. Fun for everyone, inside or out.

We also got 2 sets of those Nerf style bow and arrow kits Costco had this summer. Set up a bunch of targets around the backyard and had a few family competitions. The kids enjoyed it almost as much as we did.

My son played with his all summer, worked every time and was easily the most played outdoor toy for him. The sound is part of the "science" behind the velocity, and is actually quite fun. Good deal at this price. Thanks OP.
