[Costco] Samsung 55 in. QLED 4K TV The Frame QN55LS03A $1698 (Save $300)

Not too hot of a deal..

The frame tv is $300 off not only in costco but through other retailers too. (Bestbuy, The Source....)

I know not everybody likes this tv and I was eyeing this for a while now. I need a tv for a small living room and i think this is a good idea. Painting and Tv in one. Expecting already a lot of downvotes. hahaha!

Thanks OP! Does anyone know of any other alternatives to The Frame TV where there is art and TV in one?

The only other tv I know of is the G series LG OLED. A way better tv but pricier also.

I am waiting for the 75" to be around $2500 like last year's model. I guess I'll be waiting for a while! :)

Last year for last year's model, the MSRP was lower, and I think the sale price was around $2800 at the big box stores? And then you could haggle and get from visions and telecity, etc for like $2400-$2500 I think?

As an owner of a Frame TV, the best alternative is to use a regular TV, buy a Chromecast 4K, load up some photos into Google Photos that look like artwork (with a bezel, etc.) and change the settings in the Google Home app to not display the time or weather, and leave the TV on. This is what I end up doing with my Frame because it keeps defaulting to HDMI 1 input instead of Art Mode like it's supposed to. The main benefit of the Frame for me at this point is the nice looking form factor which you may not get with other TVs.

Bought this last week - such a great TV! It's a bit pricier but the form factor, flush mount, one connect, and art mode that is triggered by motion in the room are well worth it.

Only problem now is that I need to find an alternative to a soundbar because mounting a soundbar would ruin the look. Thinking of the KEF LSX... but they're $$$

I have this and yeah, I know I could get a technically superior TV for half the price, but it's a compromise. It works well for those of us who don't have a home large enough to have a family room (messy and with TV) and also a living room (which looks nice for guests).

This has been my exact challenge. Sound bar functionality without putting it under the frame

I've been waiting for this to come on sale for almost a year. Hopefully they restock. Some 2020 versions are being closed out at a few stores but like the thiner version of the 2021

I have this TV and love it! Get the $7.99 / month Samsung art subscription and have different art on your wall everyday. Way better than looking at a black rectangle on your walk. Make sure it has e-ARC.

Would you ever use this tv without mounting it on the wall? Maybe defeats this purpose of this tv?

Bumping because it's the last day of the deal though Costco is still OOS. Deal is slightly warmer through the source's EPP program for $1648.99.

I dont know about the source but costco's warranty and return policy is very good. Yeah, too bad its OOS. I got my tv last week and i can say its worth the purchase.
