[Costco] Samsung 70" QLED

Saw this deal at costco woodbine location today.

Samsung QLED 70" 60A, so not top of the line

The regular price is 1989.99, but its now $400 off; $1589.99

If you buy this TV by the end of August you get $200 costco gift card which lowers the cost of tv to

$1389.99 + tax.

For the lower end Sony and Samsung models, they are outmatched by the likes of TCL and Hisense for less cost.

also will be looking for a ~65" or so in the near while. Haven't kept up with technology really, but some quick research shows OLED panels are still in the $3k+ range for a 65" and the "el cheapo" local dimming (TCL, Hisense etc) are about ~$800+?

I'm willing to spend up to $1500 and was hoping OLEDs would eventually drop, or something else I should be looking out for? This would be a primary TV, and my TCL 65R615-CA would be relegated to secondary usage.

Weird this looks like a solid deal. You can't even get a no name brand at these prices let alone Samsung. Good find OP!

Slightly related: Is the 65" Sony X90J from Costco a decent deal at $1889.99? I know it has been as low as $1798 from Costco, but its looking like it wont go that low again till November.

I purchased this TV and will tell you it’s great value. Based on the previous $2500 TV that I purchased and broke right after the two year mark.

One thing I learned is to buy the $99 extended warranty and not worry about your power supply or cpu breaking right after the two year manufacturer warranty.
