Not sure what Prices were on boxing day for this TV
But if you don't have access to a time machine and were looking at this TV

It's a Solid Deal for a solid TV
8.7/10 from RTINGS
Video Review

I've seen some reviewers say this is as close as LED has come to OLED SO FAR ( BUT OF COURSE OLED IS SUPPERIOR! )
I've also read about rainbow effect from coating they used of the screen

Don't recall BF or BD prices for this specific model.
Did pick up a QN75QN9DA 75" from Costco for $2399 during the BF week.
Still trying to get a good comparison between the QN9DA, the QN90A and the QN90B

This was the price from before Black Friday up to Boxing Day

I was tracking QN90B prices, ended up with an 85"

What did you end up paying for the 85"?
Do you notice the rainbow streak effect from bright windows or lights

Not sure whether the same thing but I have the QN9DA 55” which is essentially the 2022 Costco version of the QN90A and I get a rainbow effect at certain angles when certain ceiling lights are on.

I hear you, I’m fortunate that ours is in north facing room so doesn’t have sun glare either. I’m also fortunate enough I can turn off either of the ceiling lights that cause the issue so the fact it happens doesn’t bother me, don’t get the issue from my stand lights. Still, it’s an absolutely brilliant TV, no regrets.

Sale price between Black Friday and Boxing Day was $3999. I had found a Best Buy certified open box for $2999.

I do notice it when a floor lamp behind our sofa is on at night. Even though it's singular light source, it creates a streak of reflection that goes across the entire screen. I've pretty much just gotten used to it, and don't really notice it at any other time. That picture from Reddit is pretty bad though...

It is January 2023.

This model was first shown at CES 2022.

Its successor model was shown at CES 2023.

TVs shown at CES every year show up at retail in march / april of that same year.

Expect this model to be less costly at that time, on clearance, which will of course be YMMV.

Or, wait for the new model in March / April of 2023.

If you want the new model, just prior to general availability coordinate a group buy of the new model year TVs at a specific location with a specific salesperson at a store willing to 'haggle' and you'll get the best possible price.

Compared to the 90A, the 90B supposedly doesn't have the same problems with reflection. Not sure whether the 90C will be better or the same.
There is no god. But it still feels good to be kind to people, animals, and the environment, so keep doing that.
