[Costco] Samsung UN82RU8000 82 in. Smart 4K HDR TV - $1997 (Two Days Only)

Under $2 grand for this TV is ridiculous. It was $2499 on Black Friday. Looks like it is only for two days.

Plus they give a 2 year warranty on TV's at Costco.

Same price at a variety of stores. Not a fan of the RU Samsung series for that large of a TV.

Very tempted. Also noticed this model is listed on Apple’s website as being compatible with the Apple TV app (assuming Costco is selling 2019 model).

How do I explain this to the wife!?!?

Just grabbed the 65x900 for our main living area. 82 would fill out the wall even better

We could update the tv in the basement, maybe I can do a switcharoo....hmmm

Great price for 82” TV. It’s missing local dimming (plus it doesn’t have separate dimming zones anyway). I remember last year Costco blew out last year’s version 82” NU8000 for $1500 but it was in store only YMMV. At $2000 delivered, hard to beat. Pretty sure this supports AirPlay 2 but not HomeKit.

Some things are not worth fighting for. But this..... Sleeping on the couch for a few days will give you a life time (maybe 5-8 years) of happiness. Totally worth it.......
