[Costco] SanDisk 128GB microSDXC Memory Card Ultra Class 10 UHS-I w/ SD Adapter + USB 2.0 Reader $46.99

Was @ Downsview Costco and saw this. Picked one up and seemed like a good price. I did a search before posting this and thought it's a deal. I don't recall seeing one of these flash card bundled with both card adapter AND card reader (although it's an USB 2.0).

This is regular price at Costco, and I believe has gone low as $30 before.

Actually just picked up one today for my new Android phone (cheaper price than what Amazon had on Prime Day) - be warned though, the write speeds are pretty slow (was getting 15 Mb/s copying MP3s via USB 2.0 adapter). Advertised read speed of 80 MB/s are good for most purposes, but not designed for anything more demanding than a smartphone - in fact, the packaging most prominently sells itself as a Android SD card.

Yeah, good for switch. Read speed is what it really matter for loading games.

why is this being downvoted? it's the cheapest regular price around for this and even beats the sale price at places like amazon and bestbuy. on primeday amazon had it for 49.99. i was looking around for a a couple months before i discovered buried in some thread, this costco deal.

NCIX & Canada Computers both are selling 128GB in the $70~80 range - memory card price must have jumped up.

Is the write speed really that slow? Would that affect its use as a second storage space in a surface pro3 as a scratch disk for photoshop?

I am sure loads of people know more then I on the subject but the discussion of actual speeds got me thinking, can a modern cell phone actually reach these speed of read and write?

So I used the google monster and came up with this https://www.androidcentral.com/sd-card- ... sk-extreme it seems like the extreme model tops out at around 18 mb write. Maybe in the near future we will see dual card support and raid so card configurations?!
