Costco Sargent Farms Halal Thighs Chicken

Bought these for the first time because we're familiar with the chicken wings (they're great). Every piece of thigh had the skin peeled back and barley attached. I've never encountered this before and wondered if it's normal for the brand?

They just opened a business centre here and that's were we get them them. They are fresh, not frozen. Can't remember the price off hand though.

Our CBC doesn't carry the Kirkland trays which is what we used to get...... Skin intact

I've bought a box of their chicken wings and found there were too many pieces with broken bones. Went back to Kirkland trays.

The business centre is closer than the store. Looks like I'll have to go the extra distance. Even the Lamb skewers are better at the store

Totally depends on the item unfortunately. For instance, brisket at CBC is much better than regular store I find.

It sucks that both carry some meat the other doesn't which always necessitates a double trip, which I hate.

Also seems they get some meat from St. Helen's, as I've seen them unbox it at CBC. But I don't care where they get it from as long as the quality is good for the price.
