[Costco] Schwinn IC4 $999.99 YMMV

Hey everyone!

Have been tracking the Schwinn ic4 and saw it today in Costco.

It seems to go on sale to this price (post COVID world) at Best Buy and Amazon, so was more than happy to snag it at Costco today.

Happy shopping and riding!

Great deal, got this for the same price in ON at Best Buy and pairs well with a digital Peloton membership

The IC4 is a solid unit. Can work with the digital peloton app, other apps or on its own. There is an abundance of reviews on this bike comparing it to other bikes as well.

Can't go wrong getting it from Costco either.

Sonofa! I just bought this last Sunday night for $1199 from Best Buy. Any way to get them to retroactively price match?

Purchased from Amazon a month ago, its great.

The seat is too hard though, do yourself a favor and budget an extra $50 to grab a more padded seat. I picked up a Bell seat for $30 from Walmart fwiw.

So build quality aside, what's the real advantage of this bike vs $300 range bikes? As I understand Peloton apps functionality is very limited ( you can't participate in their scoring board) and it works only for RPMs. Is it worth it paying $400-$500 premium just for that? Bikes gets decent scores on YouTube reviews, but not near perfect ( 60-80 out of 100) so what am I missing? It's over $1100 after taxes in the end Confused Face

Magnetic resistance and sensors required for apps, from what I can tell.
I have the felt pad resistance, dumb bike and it Is good enough for me. But requires regular maintenance, which is a bit of a pain
