[Costco] Sealy Posturepedic Atwater queen mattress $439.99

In store at Costco Halifax. Box spring is also on sale for 84.99.

Previous thread on this -> costco-costco-ca-sealy-posturepedic-atw ... 9-2439708/

Online price is way higher, probably because of the shipping. This mattress does not come in a box but was stacked at the Costco.

I was tempted to buy this, but the reviews on the website are really negative. Anyone here have any experience with this mattress?

My parents got this and said they while its firm they loved it and haven’t slept that good in a while. YMMV as we grew up poor so that may skew our praise.

Way too firm. I wish I had returned it. I ended up buying a mattress pad, then a memory foam topper, then gave it away and got a Leesa.

The one that they carried before the Atwater (a few years ago now) that was medium was amazing. I loved that mattress. This one not so much

Do stores carry double sized mattresses? Don't ever walk in that area so I never noticed.

Bought this last week on sale in Edmonton for the same price for our new guest room. Had guests for a week and they absolutely loved it. I have only personally laid on for for a few moments. But I think this is the best mattress you can get under $1,000. Don't expect complete custom mattress at this price. But this thing blows and type of Jysk or Ikea mattress out of the water.

I bought this mattress 6 months ago . Do your self a favor and do not buy this mattress. It is TERRIBLE. I read the bad reviews and thought it can't be that bad, but it's true, I should've listened.

First month with this mattress was great, It was comfortable and firm. Second month I start noticing the middle felt softer than the rest of the bed. By 3rd month it was very obvious middle was sagging a bit.
I am now in the 5th month the middle is has almost no integrity left and give me back pain. I am not a heavy person either at 150 lbs.

The foam they used in this mattress is very low quality and will sag (or go from firm to very soft) within 3 months. Thank God it's Costco, I am returning it as soon as I can find another mattress

Bought the mattress for our 5 year old son. I expect we will get 10 years out of it. Firmish but I say the poorer quality shows when you sit on it as the mattress sinks in that area. People under 150lbs probably would not have an issue ongoing. I would not recommend 2 people cause it would sag. Bought a Yorkdale Dori $5-600 mattress at the same time and the thing feels solid. Wife sleeping close and no sag, my back thanks me for the purchase.

This mattress has only 800 pocket coils. For reference the entry level Kingsdown mattress at Sleep Country is like 1300. This mattress from Costco is the poorest of qualities
I cant tell if im addicted to RFD or good deals

this mattress is absolute trash. Within a month it had a squeaky spring. By 6 months it was sagging so badly we would slide into a dip in the middle like a hammock. I'm 170lb and my wife is 110.

uh seriously? what makes this the best mattress under $1000? The ikea spring mattresses are way better quality than this and I would pair one of those with a topper as a good mattress that would last 5 years. This thing belongs in the dumpster.

i bought a double from Costco a while back. It's firm. Not good if you like something soft or have a weak back. I have this for a few years now and it's still good. I like it but not everyone does.
