[Costco] Segway ES3 Electric Ninebot KickScooter with Dual Battery $699.99

Sale price updated ($50 off until June 10, 2020)

This one's bound to be popular with Costco's return policy!
I really can't justify getting one, so I'll pass this time (kicking myself because it looks so fuuuuuuuuun)! Heck maybe I should buy one use it and resell it at the end of Summer/Fall!
Should go fast if there really are only 56 in stock (tried the add Qty 999 to cart trick)!

Segway ES3 Ninebot scooter with Dual battery

Enjoy!

Hahaha - yup I thought it would populate automatically since I put it in the "price" section of the post but I added just before your post when I saw it wasn't there.
Thx

These eScooters are so tempting but I'm not about to wait 2+ hrs to make a return at Costco right now with all the line ups. Honestly would love to ditch the car for my daily work commute (post COVID lockdowns), but the unreliable Ontario weather really makes me wonder if that is even possible though

Interesting deal for sure esp since it's coming from Costco.

It was 699.99 on Costco.ca for a few weeks up until a few days ago.

I really wish there are clearer laws in Alberta, it seems so convoluted and hard to truly understand the words used. Anyone can chime in? I want to get a couple of them for just commuting in and around the neighborhood.

What - even with the dual battery? No way - that's an even better price - and nobody posted it??

Scooters are awesome. I did 2 months commuting last fall on a Xiaomi M365 , sold it and upgraded to the pro on that Wagjag group buy. I’m not sure this one is hackable but I changed my firmware to top out at 32 km/h. Absolutely no regrets.

My only caveat to everyone is that these are front wheel drive and not the best for handling at speed. A ton of new entries coming out with rear wheel/2 wheel motors that improve handling significantly.

Quebec has rules in place, basically the same as mopeds, bike paths and any street are permitted, but no highways.

How easy is it to unlock the ES3?

Yep it was 699.99 and I actually got the Max for $849 instead. It has 30km/h max speed, 65km range (551Wh), and is IPX5 water resistant (ES3 is IPX4). It has the old motor so better torque for uphill but top speed goes down to 25km/h by about 50% charge left. These scooters seem to be getting more and more popular.

Even better that it wasn't posted as it's own deal - $50 more now --> wallet safe! ;)

They need to figure out a way to make them with bigger wheels, more control at speed and smoother riding
