Don't know the quality, but for this price and Costco warranty... it can't go wrong.

I purchased this online a couple of weeks ago for 49.99 (had a coupon to use) and was fairly happy. The fan is extremely quiet on the lowest settings, the remote feels cheap and plastic but does get the job done. For $30 bucks its a great price for a decent fan.

Bought a few of these for work last summer. They work as expected. Solid value at full price, even better for $30.

Would we be able to price adjust from the higher price?

Costco's policy is to price adjust within 30 days after purchase only. Though technically you could just return it and repurchase at the lower price. I have had a price adjustment substantially after the 30 day period by arguing that exact point (the price drop was significant enough to return the product and re-buy).

Didn't notice it earlier this week in the GTA. Hope it's soon.

Same here. Was just at Costco in Markham yesterday and it was still regular price. If anyone sees it in GTA for this price please let us know!

I was at Markham Costco (Kirkland) and they were still $44.99.

I actually went there to return one of these and was planning to get another one as mine was making a rattling noise when it was rotating. I still have an additional one at home and bought one for my parents last month too that are still working fine but the associate that did my return mentioned the build on this year's model isn't great as they got many returns and she also returned one she purchased as well as it stopped rotating completely. Decided not to pick up another one in the end.

I've been using these for over a couple of years, solid quality. Never tried the remote and never seen it on sale in Toronto. A bit of a trek to Vancouver to save $15

My experience with seville fans are they tend to be quiet for the first couple of years. Once dust starts to build up, they rattle even at the lowest setting and can't be taken apart for cleaning.

Have a few from prior years. This particular variant has been trash and very noisy.

Thanks OP, Was looking for a fan and was able to pick up from Oshawa location. They had 15 or so left as of 3:20pm but they were flying off the shelf.

bought 1 on sale from costco 1 or 2 years ago. solid quality, lotsa air flow, much quieter than a box fan.

i always wanted a dyson air multiplier but several online reviews indicated this was pretty much the same for 1/10th the price. wished i bought more than 1. if it goes on sale in toronto i guess that will be my opportunity.

Had 3, one will not turn on after a few years. 2nd one remote broke. 3rd one will not oscillate. Too bad I did not keep the box or else, I will surely return it. Quality is all over the place. At $29.99, I would buy again. I paid $59.99 for the old one.
