[Costco] Shutterfly 51% Off Orders Over $59 For Signing Up & Transferring Costco Account

Exclusive Savings
for Costco Members
Costco member accounts will automatically apply a 51% discount on all Shutterfly orders and free shipping on orders over $59

Dear Costco Member,
Today is the last day to place your order on CostcoPhotoCentre.ca.
You can transfer your Costco Photo account to Shutterfly by going to https://www.shutterflycanada.ca/costco. Additionally, you have the option to download your images stored at CostcoPhotoCentre to your computer.

-------------------------------
So here's the thing. While this is intended for Costco Photo Centre users, it looks as if as long as you sign in with your Costco Membership number and create a shutterfly account, you will receive the discount.

We have been using costco photo for so long now every holiday to create calendars for our family. They were always 9.99 with a decent shipping price. We would order like 7 calendars at a time.

Now i see with shutterfly they will be like $23.99...

If the 51% off is a one time use its just ridiculous and they lost my future business... but if not well maybe it's not that bad.

Things were better when costco partner with Fuji... Shutterfly is big... but sounds like another American company trying to hit the canadian market. All their lab looks like its in the US, I hope their products don't have customs fee when they arrive.

Like photobook.com shipping their terrible quality garbage from Malaysia at a premium?

Any recommendations for photo books and canvas prints?

I forgot the one (maybe photo books . Com) where they have all these stupid “coupons” you buy. And u don’t find out shipping is outrageous until the end. And every friggin book is different priced.

The Costco discount applies to all orders throughout the year.

Even after the 51% off their prices are just nuts. The 12x12 premium photobook for 59.99 was the best thing at costco photocenter, say goodbye to that.

It's a huge blow to my business as a photographer. I'd often gift my clients the 12x12 books or a 24x36 canvas.

Yes, but looks like they are not in the best shape. They just announced a massive layoffs again a few days ago.

My 2cents
I use the US site to print photo books. Price is great on groupon $3.5 USD and up but shipping is a little high $12 USD and up.
It takes less time to ship from the US compared to Photobook Canada that ships from Malaysia, and I can’t find photobook Canada on groupon anymore.

Canvas is too expensive. I would look somewhere else on groupon for that.

Overall, I am satisfied with shutterfly.
Tip- for some silly reason I can’t search shutterfly in groupon. But when I Google it, I get the links. Silly app restricts deals availability based on my location when the deal is actually available.

Use Shutterfly a few times a year and usually find it works well is cost effective for larger sized books - I also found the quality to be better than Photobook Canada
A 90 page 8.5x11 Photobook usually runs around $40US after discounts

51% does not seem like a good deal for Shutterfly - Usually get better than that direct for Shutterfly at most US holidays etc
They do let you stack multiple offers/codes so adding 51% to a few other offers might makes this a deal
(im partial to the free extra pages deal that they regularly run)

Was in the middle of making a photobook through Costco so this change is not ideal. Hopefully I will able to transfer everything over easily and the cost/quality will be relatively similar

That feature isn’t even ready on Shutterfly, not sure what’s going to happen to your book.
