[Costco] SMOKIN HOT BRISKET $8.99kg

Just saw at Costco Guelph AAA Brisket on for $8.99kg. The absolute cheapest you will ever find in Canada. Not sure how long it will be at this price.

Bought one month ago, and finally made it last night! So good. It is just 1/3 of the piece I got. Trimmed up some fat. Seasoned for 2 days. Sous vide for 24 hours (will do 48 hours next time). Smoked in the gas bbq for 1 hour with jack Daniels whiskey barrel chips.

Might be very YMMV. Bought one a couple days ago in Sherwood Park and it was $11.99/Kg. Really good price if you can find one for $8.99/Kg.

I just used the beef brisket spices from Cabela’s
Used the Anova in a clear plastic container with cover.

Cooking it at 51C? so 124F I guess. You then did it low and slow on the bbq? I've got a good sized smoker but I am contemplating using my SV first and then finishing in the smoker as well.
Please don't ask or beg for "thanks". Don't act like this is Facebook. If someone found your post helpful, let them decide if they want to make that click. The more you beg, the less you'll get. Cheers

This might get someone's attention that doesn't want to scroll through 17 pages to see the latest price.
Admittedly, I’m biased since that’s my thread, but someone that is interested in seeing the latest price is going to go straight to the last couple of pages.

Edit: Updated first post in my thread to include this.

Anyone seen this in any of the costco in Edmonton or surrounding area? I am going tomorrow but if this is available, I might have to move up my timeline hahaha.

Thank you in advance!
