[Costco] Sony 65 in. 4K HDR OLED Google Smart TV XR65A80J $2789.99

This time Sony has similar promo as LG awhile ago.

Sony 65 in. 4K HDR OLED Google Smart TV XR65A80J for $2789.99

Same deal in Best Buy and I guess other retailers plus or minus Costco has advantage in warranty and return policy

https://www.costco.ca/sony-65-in.-4k-hd ... langId=-24

Of course to beat Sony LG dropped their price for OLED65C1 to $2597.99

The problem with waiting for Black Friday is:
- The BF sales have been getting worse every year
- Big BF sales on TVs are usually limited to cheap loss-leader models that the store has stocked specially for the sale
- popular models are sold out long before BF, especially this year where there's a shipping capacity crisis

This. I was waiting and waiting for the X900H to go on sale, then it did during Dec, but sold out, but back to full price. Then $100 off, but always sold out, then OOP and new 2021 models in. So now do I pull trigger on X90J or not....

And I'll get the 2% back thing on purchase as well.

What's the all time lowest for the 65" C1?

I was very tempted at the previous $2800, but now that it's dropped to $2600, I was ready to pull the trigger, but then saw it was sold out :(

For those that follow OLED prices more closely in the past, does Sony ever lower their prices to the LG prices?

Ie. comparing C1 vs A80J, seems there's always a $200 difference.

I swear I don't work for this company but I bought the 90H last year was able to get it for 1500ish when everyone else was selling them for 1700. Since you are in Vancouver I would recommend you ask for a quote

Bought the XR65A80J 3 weeks ago as BR TV stopped working. After install wife and I liked it so much it was swapped out with LR TV. Picture and settings impressive esp after installing a calib tool- honestly not really needed. Biggest surprise was the audio, unbelievably clear and spacious. Will wait to buy larger Sony Oled for LR but for now it stays in the LR. Google TV don't use as we have 4K Firestick. Setup was very simple including pairing Sony remote with Bell TV Set Top Box.
Bought from Costco, main reason great return and warranty. Will price adjust. Thanked OP.

I know Leon’s isn’t everyone’s favourite but if their vip sale includes TVs you might be able to get the LG 65 $2600 all in. It is this Thursday/Friday. It was on months ago and was the lowest I have seen the 65” oled. At least something to look into.
