This looks like an excellent deal for a dutch oven.
I may get this and use it inverted for baking sourdough. It would be much easier to transfer the dough directly from a bamboo banneton onto the lid (as the base). Just unsure if the ribbed grill texture would be problematic for the underside of a loaf of bread.

I got one last time it was on sale, me and my wife really loved the pot. The heavy cast iron is really good for braising, no need to refill water as often as other pots.
More and more I think Le Creuset is losing or has lost its foothold in the market. For the same money (or less) I would take a Staub over a Le Creuset any day, and for a budget option Lodge makes good cheap Dutch ovens too.
I upvote this everytime I see it cause it's such a good value. The capacity is great for a family of 4.
I'm finding I'm using it more than our LC as it tends to retain heat better. Downside is it's heavier. Some people might not like the black interior.
Surprisingly the grill lid is also super handy. Whether it's to temporarily store the browned meat while making braises or sometimes just grilling more meat in the pot and lid, I find it speeds up most of my one pot recipes.
Does anyone know if that interior is bare cast iron or enamel? If cast, presumably this needs to be seasoned and treated like a cast iron oven as opposed to an enameled oven, and presumably extra caution is needed when working with acidic foods like tomatoes. Anyone with experience with this oven know? Also, anyone know how these stand up to a dishwasher?

I don't own this one but my dutch oven is black enamel inside, per the other commenter. I don't put it in the dishwasher as it hand washes so easily.

Thanks, I didn't follow the link, I came here from the Costco West thread indicating this was on sale for $189 in store. Description shows enameled interior and dishwasher safe, so this seems great!
