[Costco] Sunforce Solar Motion Activated Security Light $30 instore

I went to Costco Kanata and saw the Sunforce Solar Motion Activated Security Light is 7$ off. The original price is at $37 so that the current price is at $30. The price at US Costco after $10 off is at $37 US dollar.

Online price is NOT discounted and at $45.

I bought this back in Oct 2019, it has been great and strong for the past almost 2 years, including 2 winters.
How has the solar panels been holding up for 2 years? Has the laminated solar panels started to peel away from the UV rays?

It comes with a clear gel coat on the solar panel, and it protected I guess

Got one of these a few years ago and installed it in my shed. Its nice in the winter when it gets dark early and I can instant light in my shed. Or when the wind decided to shut the door of my shed..... i just wave my arm and it lights up.

Been running for 2 years without issue.

So I bought one for my dad arouns the same time and same for him it's been installed for 2 years and it's been running great.

Fyi we are from 2 different part of NB. Similar weather patterns and cold winters :) but they are still working good.

Correct. I got in the deal last year for $60 for 2 shipped at Costco. Mounted both light and solar panel onto a wood panel and mounted the panel on a wall.

If you want to have a good nights sleep, I'd recommend changing the 18650 battery into a quality brand one.

It will charge even there is no direct sunlight, and it won't consume a lot of power as it is only triggered by motion.
I have one installed facing the north without direct sunlight on it, it still works well and survived the past winter.
