[Costco] TCL 6 Series 55 Inch 4K TV 599.99

The 55 inch version of the TCL 55R613-CA tv just got stock on Costco's website for $599. It's $230 dollars cheaper than the 65 inch TCL 6 TV which is $830 also from Costco.

still suffering from DSE issues? ppl got this for $490 during BF

599 seems to be the going price for this as bestbuy has the 615 for the same price

obviously would get it from costco instead, but not really a special price as hit this price in late march

Great TV - no complaints and loving the vivid colours on it. Bought 3 back at 499 last sale - one as a gift and 2 in my house.

It's not but it won't last long, regardless. It's in-stock and a hot seller, will go OOS very shortly just wait and see.

Gotta face the fact that it's not going back down to the BF/BD price of $500. It's gonna get depleted before then and will likely not have the replacement 6-series until late in the year. It's possible they may pop the 2019 in here but doubtful given Canada has never gotten that at all and even in the US Costco only ever had the 2018 as well. Plus the R62x is more expensive for almost no real-world improvement, you get to say you have a "QLED" TV and empty your wallet a bit more but that's about it.

As for DSE, it's panel lottery. On the 55 you should have a much better time having one with little DSE. And hey it's Costco, if it's not good just click online and schedule the return.

Isn't that weird they won't release the 2019 model in Canada? I thought it would be coming out soon since it came out in the states awhile ago ☹️

Probably logistic or shipping details that didn’t work out. TCL’s biggest market is America (outside of China), so I’m guessing some sort of distribution arrangement. 2020 should come out. Or maybe they have some delayed release and we get 2019 in 2020 lol

Great TV, Great Monitor.

Folks best be running, that 30 day price match, 90 day return and generous warranty are a beautiful thing.
I aim to be inclusive and considerate of others in my posts. If I fall short of that mark, feel free to let me know in good faith, and where appropriate, I'll edit my posts. Thank you.

Yeah but I think we've passed the point now where they would release it here. I'm thinking it was more a stock/production thing where they had tons of R61x made and less of R62x but who knows? Even in US at Costco, BJ's, they only had the R613. You could get the R625 only at Best Lie, Amazon, Walmart, etc. there. They didn't give us the 5-series, didn't give us the 8-series...I guess our market is just not enough but hopefully the good sales they have on the 4 & [2018] 6 will make them change their minds in the future.

2020 6-series should get things like VRR and it will be miniLED backlighting so no real need to worry about the 2019 (which is really only very slightly different than the 2018); let's just hope we get the 2020 whenever it launches.

Goes in and out of stock, keep an eye out.

You get what you pay for in size, $600 for 55" and $830 for 65", for 40% more screen real estate and 120 dimming zones.

Fyi my 65" was made Jan 2020 so they're making them alongside R625 in the US, even if it did come here would be surprised if under $1000.

The thing I worry most about is what if we roll snake eyes on the panel lottery, if we have to send it back Costco doesn’t swap it for another panel unless they have it in stock no?

I’m wondering if preordering the Hisense 65 for 947 makes the most sense right now? But I’m dying for a decent sale. My moving budget is killing me, but 9 years for a TV is enough.
