[Costco] TCL 6 series TV now in store YMMV - $699.99

I was in Costco Pointe Claire, Montreal and noticed they have finally started to stock the TCL 6 series. They've had the 4 series for a few months now.

Great price for this tv, which has had great reviews. They had 5 in stock.

My local store, Kanata, still did not have this in stock so YMMV.

Right? I have not seen one in Canada yet in that size.

Is there any different between the 6513 model at Costco and the 6517 model I'm seeing on Amazon?

Also I see the TV doesn't have bluetooth but it says it can connect to the cell phone, how is this possible? Is there a way of making it bluetooth? Thanks

If I am not mistaken, the difference is in the remote. One is voice controlled, the other is not. Other than that, the TVs themselves are identical.

You're forgetting wifi - have the TV and cellphone on the same network and they will find each other.
Don't think there's a way of adding bluetooth to a TV.

I know the 615 at best buy at the different remote. Didnt know the 613 does too. Is it possible to just buy the voice remote?

I read somewhere that it is. That you can buy any of the remote versions later, even the one with a headphone jack and it will work. Though, would do some more verifying on your part.

Does anybody know first hand if these TVs can be controlled by Rogers universal remotes that come with the cable boxes?

Best buy has the 65" for 999. Check if they are still available. That was awhile ago I recall
