Costco tires on rims without install

Hey,

Costco Tire center is not answering phone calls. Does anyone know if they'll put tires on rims, removing old tires and putting on new (and for how much) without installing them on the car? I bought a new set at costco.ca and it costs $20/tire to install. I can do that install myself if they would put it on the rims.

Thanks

Chance of them declining warranty due to 3rd party installing would be high.

Walk in, have a chat with them next time when you go for Costco run.

Yes, they do this no problem. Drop off the wheels and tires, pay, pick up the next day. Speaking from personal experience. Although I have a tire mounter and balancer I can use at the school shop, I took my 20" wheels and tires there, they are better then me, and have a better machine.

I've been reading here that you need them to install it to have the warranty on tires but I can't seem to find anything online on their site. All it says is that you need to have the tires purchased at Costco. Have they changed this?

You do not have to purchase tires there. Bring wheels, bring tires, drop off.

Just updating this with what I was told by the tire center.

You must get at least the tires installed on rims for Costco warranty to be valid. You can install the wheels on your car on your own after that and the warranty will be valid. Either option still costs you $20/tire.

The $20 is the price to put tire on rims.

$25 per tire, $25* 4
