Which store?

I think the set without rack is $260, is the rack worth the extra $?

Bought this set without the rack a couple months ago. The quality is excellent and there is no rubber smell whatsoever given it is virgin rubber.

Anyone have any suggestions for where to buy 35 and 40 lb dumbbells to add on to this set? Is AmazonBasics the best option?

Still patiently waiting for the rubber barbell plates to come back (hopefully at a cheaper price).

In a somewhat related matter, anyone try Tonal or the Vitruvian V Form?

Looking to build my home gym again after moving but I'm now in a condo.

Space is the main issue but also the tech behind those two smart gyms seems unreal. Was about to pull the trigger on the V Form as it doesn't require a subscription but the North American [plug] version is coming out in a few months, so I'm holding off.

Maybe someone can point out why it's a bad idea and save me some cash lol.

I purchased the Durahex rubber dumbbells from Sport Chek and they are IMO an identical match.

FYI, the 200lb version with no stand item# 1489800 is in stock right now at Newmarket Costco. Roughly 10 sets remaining.

Interesting, I set up mine (with the rack) on the weekend and it's quite nice. You can get a rack on amazon.ca for about $75 and could save a few bucks going this route. I don't think it's worth it for me to return it though.

Example rack:

sorry if hijacking this thread. Just out of curiosity, any reason why you guys prefer this DB set than the Adjustable ones these days assuming adjustable ones are space saver ;)
