I am using it since about a month. No issues so far. Works just fine.

Picked up a set. At $15 it's a great price. Not sure why they brand themselves as CE Smart Home. It's not a smart device!

They definitely went for function over design on those monsters, eh?

Is there any way to make wall plugs like this stay in the wall better? I have one like it, but unplugging things often requires holding it or risking unplugging the entire unit, which has turned me to prefer the less convenient normal cable style in most cases.

I tried looking for these at Laird / Mississauga West costco a few weeks back but they were OOS. Need to check if they've been restocked as I'm in real need for something like this!

Don't think so, I have one of these that screw into the middle of the older outlets, other than that maybe look for one that plugs into both sockets for a firmer hold.

Because that's the name of the company and they sell other connected devices that Costco carries.

Take your wall plate off. The male plug on this unit will get a little better bite in wall socket if it's pushed a little further into the female side in the wall.

heads up these don't work on a gfci outlet since the spacing is a bit different. In order to make it work you have to modify/cut off the plastic nub that fits into the ground of the lower plug.

Are your wall outlets really old or worn out? I have to pull quite hard to get anything out. You could spread the plugs on the back of these a bit to make stay.

Try to bend out flat prongs just a little bit. Then you'll have some "spring-loaded" tension.

It's what I do with some electric tools that don't want to stay plugged in :)

They were OOS at the Warden Costco too when the sale started a couple of weeks ago. But last week they were back in stock. So seems like they're restocking.

It was at this price either last week or 2 weeks ago (I forgot) when I bought a pack.

How good is this? I’ve heard of cheaper costco wall outlets burning the house down.

Engineering question. Why is it plugged over two outlets but only using one outlet? Shouldn’t it be more secured and safer if using both? More secure than plastic nub and power spread over two plugs?
