[Costco] Venture Interlock Foam Mat 6pk 2'x2' (24 square feet) - $37

I didn't see these available in the usual Costco posts but I was looking for foam mats for the home gym I'm building from the $99 squat rack from Canadian tire. I saw in my local FB group that these mats were on sale for $37 down from $45, seems like a good deal

If folks don’t need it right away, there’s a better deal at princess auto for similar mats — 4pk 2’x2’, 16 sqft for $10. I was in the same situation as you OP and have been happy with the PA mats for a little over a year now.

I've seen thick rubbery mats at Costco before (I think it was for the patio) that were a similar size to these... Does anyone know if those would be better for a home gym? (Don't think they 'squish' as much as these when placed under weight, if at all)

How thick are your mats? the Costco ones are 20mm thick (3/4")

from package thickness 1.8" , seems like each mat is around 11mm thickness. (if their 1.8" total thickness is correct).

they have them at the warehouse.. price is close to $30 now. Those are much better for home gym. The rubber smell is pretty strong. I put them out in the sun for a few days and the smell is much less now.

Walmart has similar ones but it seems they are less thick. I have some of the Walmart ones and been happy with them though! They are $25 on the website.

I have had some of the heavy rubber ones from Costco - they are quite heavy and they off gassed a lot for me. I had one that I could never get the smell out of so it just lives outside now lol. No smell from these foam tiles, I assume the Costco ones also have no smell.

Oh, great call! Forgot to mention it. It’s 1/2” (12mm).

Got excited as I thought it was the garage ones :(. If anyone knows a good deal for garage flooring interlock.
Stay strong, situation always looks harder and that it will never end when you are in the middle of it, but remember past experiences, everything has an ending.

Its insane how expensive these have gotten. I used to get mine from Lowes for $12/4pk and that was regular price.
