It's a good price, but the P65 should be going on sale before Black Friday, probably not for this price though.

Whats the possibility of getting a better TV (same size) for this price or lower by BF/BD?

Highly likely if you’re asking based on current Costco pricing, it all depends on which tv’s the manufacturers/store choose to discount

unless you’re currently taking advantage of any deals that Hibbing is posting in the Hot deals forum

Currently I do not have an ETA on when this model will be available. I would continue to check you preferred retailer for availability.

This means nothing, and your response from Vizio confirms that. It's entirely up to Costco and Vizio on the timing of their shipments and their pricing. My contact at Costco says that they're attempting to get a shipment in, but that they're displeased with Vizio's return rate... take that for what it's worth. I last polled him a few weeks back.

The TCL 6 Series R617 is slightly better than the Vizio M Series 2018. The TCL R617 can get brighter to fight glare in a bright room but can also display deeper blacks in a dark room since it has better native contrast ratio and support for local dimming. Also, the TCL R617 has a lower input lag which is great if you play video games. It has better HDR performance and better motion handling features as it has support motion interpolation. The Vizio M Series 2018, on the other hand, has better reflection handling and better gray uniformity which is great if you watch sports in a room with many lights.

You can already have the TLC for cheaper at Amazon.
TLC are comparable to the vizio M series.

https://www.amazon.ca/TCL-65S425-CA-Ult ... %2Btv&th=1
549.99$ for a 55" free shipping with amazon prime
This is true; however, the link is for the TCL 4 Series which has HDR 10 but no Dolby Vision, and not the same refresh rate.
Here is the 55" 6-Series

What are the chances that this will be cheaper on Black Friday or Boxing day? I think the m65 has been 1099 in the past but never lower. Debating between getting this, or just getting the lower end Hisense 65" for $699 (if/when it ever goes back to that price).

P65 will be hard to get. Google for AMD lawsuit vs Vizio tvs. Vizio have to pull them off from market because of patent breach. Tcl 65 is also a ghost stock.
