[Costco] Vizio P55-F1 55" 4k HDR TV $599.97

Just grabbed a P55-F1 at Costco in Calgary. YMMV for stock, but price should be good in the west at least. Didn’t read through the whole M65 thread if it was mentioned in there.

Make sure you get the warranty for $59.99 .

I picked up last two from Brossard. Nothing in Candiac.

NOTE: You can do 120Hz (Native) @ 1080p over HDMI 2.0. Enjoy.

What’s Costco price protection again?

If I find stock somewhere, will they adjust price even if I bought it a couple of months ago?

God this is a good price, I would buy this if I didn't already have 2 tvs in the box. I just paid $470 for a LG uk6300 yesterday. But that was for use as a fourth monitor.

This Vizio P-Series does not make a good monitor.

The 2018 P-Series has a checkerboard grid pattern that is more noticeable as a PC monitor than the LG UK6300 pixel pattern. It also lacks the wide-viewing angles seen on the LG's IPS panel. The LG feels like it was pulled from a monitor production run and put into a consumer TV, as the monitor experience feels more authentic to me, especially with calibration.

In short, you did good.

P.S. I locked in a Vizio P55-F1, i.e. the very same TV, in Ancaster for $575 + HST months and months ago. There was a large thread about it, I bought the last boxed unit. So yes, it's a great TV, but just as a TV.

So got it all setup, and noticed the bottom right part of the bezel is sticking out. It’s flush with the screen on the other 3 corners. Quite noticeable up close, but obviously not from the couch. Wondering if this is normal or if maybe I should try a new one.

I guess I should’ve checked out this one before posting the deal… :-)

Paid 1100 & tax last summer. Worth every penny

If you're looking for a tv and can find stock, buy this asap. 3 month return policy if you find a better deal (unlikely). This is the performance model. Rtings had a good detailed review and probably still does

Finally down in price.. That's the TV I want (Since it's got 5 HDMI). I told myself I would get a new TV when I'm reaching my weight goal. It's been 5 months now and I'm 6lbs away.. Might grab it anyway and keep in the box for motivation

thanks OP!
