You should go back to them and ask for higher discount. I got the floor model for 594.97 with a remote. They should give you a higher discount

This looks like a really nice display and based on the reviews I read, the only drawback may be its use of PWM for dimming; which some may notice. But what I wanted to say here as more of a statement of fact rather than a slam, is that Vizio's M-series are their affordable line. They added the quantum dot enhancements to all their lines this year and it really helped this year's M-series in the end. With that said, this TV/display does sell at Walmart in the USA for $850. It's 'known' as a $1000 TV. It's a good price, but it's more of a regular price than a sale price. I really do feel that even all these years later with savvy consumers we still have scores of people who see the * -$400 OFF * and it quite figuratively takes a hold of them. Costco has the warranty thing going for them I guess, cuz I never hear about people running to Walmart to buy up Vizios..

Tempting, but I've had nothing but trouble with the Vizio M-series.
The first, 2017 series, died in less than two weeks
the second, 2018 series, was defective right out of the box (vertical line on the screen)
the third, 2019 series... hmmm

How i justified it is that the closest competitor to this model based on reviews is the TCL 6 Series. I wanted a 65" but my Costco only carries the 55", looking at the US prices for both 65" they're about the same. Might as well pony up a bit more for some added features and a newer released model Vizio 65". TCL 6 Series seems to never go on sale because of how popular they are.

Big selling point for me going with Costco is the extended warranty.

I think sale ends on the 21st, which is now..?

Not sure if this tv will be relevant enough in 3-5 years to buy the warranty.

I bought the warranty with 3 tvs and never used them ($300) in warranty fees This time I won't buy it and the tv will fail lol

Effective February 1, 2019, the Ontario Environmental Handling Fee (EHF) has been changed to $0.00. The EHF is being changed to $0.00 in advance of the wind up by the current electronics recycling program operated by OntarioElectronic Stewardship (OES) on June 30, 2020

Yeah i'm usually not the one to get warranties on my order but a little bit under 10% more isn't much for 5 year coverage. You need to buy 7 more TV warranties before it effectively becomes roughly the cost 1 of TV.

I wasn't charged any environmental fee upon checkout, not sure if it's priced in with the TV or not.
