[Costco] Weekend Update + Lysol wipes (restock YMMV)

I'm from BC but weekend deals are usually nationwide.

My friend works at Costco and said they will have more Lysol wipes coming today. They had some yesterday but were sold out within an hour.
She checked several locations in my area and all of them are getting more today. Not sure if it is the same at your location. YMMV.
These Lysol wipes are effective against Covid19. It was posted on the Canada Government website
https://www.canada.ca/en/public-health/ ... ction.html

I don't care if you flame me or downvote me. I just want to let people know that they might have Lysol wipes at their local Costco.
It's very rare these days and the sale is ending on May 3rd.

Costco is allowing more people to go inside so it is a bit crowded, however, you don't have to line up for hours.

It’s a relief to see people like you. I’m so fed up of all the whiners on here that cry when they get down voted and sulk saying “I’m not going to post anymore. Boohoo.” I never realized people’s self worth is so dependent on internet “likes” until RFD implemented thumbs.

Good On you for just trying to share helpful information with nothing in return! We need more people like you!

And for this you get an upvote! Ha ha.

Thank you very much!

Anyone know how the lines at Costco are for the Kirkham or Warden location? Are we still having to wait outside for an hour or so to get in?

Depending on the time you go yes. I went to the Markham East location on Thursday and it was about a 30min wait, but it was raining and around noon, I think that’s why the line wasn’t aslong as usual

Different location but I've been going at 8pm when there are very few people in the store and most things are still in stock (but never Lysol wipes etc).

I gas up on the way home and use a few of the Lysol wipes they have by the pumps to disinfect everything...works for our family

It's not disinfecting unless the surface remains wet for 4 minutes using these wipes. https://www.lysol.com/products/disinfec ... e-blossom/ To disinfect:

Allow to remain wet for 4 minutes.
Allow surface to air dry. Toss dirty wipe away.

"These Lysol wipes are effective against Covid19."

I've noticed a lot of people don't read the instruction on Lysol Wipes. They are in - complete shock when I tell them how long they have to wait before the wipes become effective. (View attached photo) There is an Advanced version that Costco has open near the entrance for people to use. It say to remain wet for 10 Mins.

Most people that buy these wipes are not using them correctly.

The US website use to state 10 minutes now it says 4. I have an older container that says 10 minutes, looks like the new ones say 4.

"incorrectly" has a connotation that it's useless. The way the average person uses them might kill 99.93% instead of 99.99% of the virus. Not a whole hell of a lot different. By far the worst thing people can do with these is leave the lid open so that the alcohol evaporates. As long as the wipe is still visibly wet, then it probably won't make a difference if the surface stays wet for only 45 seconds or 10 minutes.
