[Costco] West (BC, AB, MB, SK) (Feb 4 - 10) (188 pics)

Happy Lunar New Year. *Not Chinese New Year.* Big companies should get it right before they do any ads on Lunar New Year. Lululemon, IKEA, T&T and even Costco are advertising as "Chinese New Year".

Wish you a happy pig year.

Questions:

Does anyone know where I can get cheaper shipping boxes? Any connections?

It's based on the traditional Chinese calendar, so it's technically not wrong. Not PC? Possibly.

Please enlighten me as I'm truly interested. Isn't it Chinese New year based on the lunar calendar?

Many Asian countries celebrate Lunar New Year. Not just the "Chinese". For example, Korea, Vietnam Singapore and many more.
By calling " Chinese New Year", they are basically saying Chinese is No.1 and other Asians are not important at all.

Many big companies make these mistakes.

It's the Chinese calendar. Other countries adopted it, but it's still the Chinese calendar.

I'm pretty sure that there are other lunar calendars that are not based on the Chinese calendar (i.e. different new years) so those would be different. But this is Chinese New Year.

Depending on qty/size, Great Little Box Co. can be pretty cheap if you buy in larger quantities (located on Mitchell Island).

It's February 3rd. I guess the sign just wasn't changed from last week.

I have 3 Questions:
  1. Was waiting for the Nitrile Gloves to drop in price but this seems to be the regular price. Any particular reason for taking the picture?
  2. Anybody tried the Organic Fudge Ice Cream before? Does it taste good?
  3. How does the Aloe Vera drink taste? Never seen them before.
