You show a price of $10 for 18 ft neon lights, but costco.ca is still showing the $28 price. Big Difference.
The Premier Protein shake is $5 cheaper in store than online,, but I don't mind that price difference because it is heavy and includes "free" shipping

You guys out in BC are so lucky to get more items than SK...that Excalibur food dehydrator is an incredible deal at $199.99. I paid $330 for that exact one.
I didn’t want to buy it because I purchased one from amazon ($60). Now, I just have to buy it because it’s $130 cheaper. How is it ? I want to make some chewy chicken strip for my dog. The one I got from amazon just blow hot air and nothing else.

Has anyone seen Squishmallows back in stock? Was just in at the south Edmonton location, and I thought I saw a child holding one, but didn't see any in the warehouse.
Yes they still have it. No one wants them anymore.

Yup. They are XLBs indeed. But just like any frozen vs fresh these don’t keep the soup inside. (I’ve had one or two that did, but it’s a pretty small percentage that do). Pretty good taste and flavour overall. Comes with separate individual packs of XLB sauce so again convenient for packing.

At two bucks a tray and two minutes in the nuker for a quick fix or lunch at work, it’s not bad at all - especially when I can’t get out to my favourite XLB joint to get my fix.

Is the discount automatically applied at the till with an executive membership or do I need a physical coupon?
It does not apply automatically in my experience. I think their policy is that you need the physical coupon. However I’m not sure if they’ll just let you apply it since your member card will show executive member.

I had written a bit about the pointlessness of the executive coupon, but I see that's been covered already... very disappointing though
A thought on Executive coupons;
the coupon for bounty paper towel lowers the price to exact same as when it comes on normal sale (eg: on Dec 3, 2018 it was $16.79) making the executive coupon fairly pointless

In store sales do not translate to online sales. Anything with 79 or so tends to be clearance items associated with the store / region.

Thanks. Anyone know if those blackout blinds come in lighter colors? White?
I bought some of these last year in off-white approx. $39. Hopefully they will still have the same color as I hope to get more.

I was in the Burnaby store last Friday, and I believe the same 9-tray unit was $159.99 - an even better deal!

Edit: Was just at Burnaby Costco. It appears I was wrong - price is $199.99. Could've sworn I saw a lower price though...

The 5 tray is that price ($199.99) on Costco.ca. but it's cheaper on Amazon - I like the flexibility of having 9 trays. Excalibur is the best brand of food dehydrator. It has tray liners made of plastic instead of metal and the food comes off easily. I used to make jerky in the oven on the metal racks and it was a pain to clean them. Factor in the time and convenience and this one is a winner over the cheapie ones.

I have mine hooked up to a timer but there is a model with a built-in timer if you want to pay extra. I use this mostly for beef jerky and to dehydrate fruit (apples, pineapple, mango).
The best deal I saw on the 9-tray Excalibur - prior to Costco - was from Bed Bath and Beyond at $269 CAD. They ship from the US and the CAD price includes all shipping and duty provided you order from the Canadian site. Unfortunately they were always out of stock, so I ordered a 9-tray Gourmia GFD1950 from Amazon about a year ago for $159.99. It's selling even lower for $129.99 at the moment.

The Gourmia has advantages of digital temperature and timer which isn't on the Excalibur model from Costco (and at $159.99 iirc from Burnaby Still Creek location last Friday). All dehydrators take a long time to dry fruit or meat, so a timer is a useful feature. The temperature settings are in 9 deg F (5 deg C) steps - you can't set to individual degrees but that isn't really necessary.

I stayed away from some other brands listed on Amazon, because users had complained about a plastic smell from the trays, even after extended use. I didn't find that to be a problem with the Gourmia.

The spacing between trays on the Gourmia is greater than on the Excalibur. This is useful when drying larger items. As a result the Gourmia is quite a tall unit so it wouldn't fit in a small kitchen counter.

I recall the Costco Excalibur had plastic tray liners for small items to avoid falling through the large holes in the trays. For my dehydrator I bought some Teflon baking sheets for $15.45 (set of 9) from Amazon.
