[Costco] Xbox Series S Bundle with 2nd Controller - $299.97

This bundle was $349.97 last week, possibly ATL? In-store only.

Good entry level console to use with gamepass ultimate deal.

Great deal! Looks like they're killing off the Series S with these prices

What an awesome price! The console alone for $300 is great, but throwing in that extra controller is just more icing on an already awesome cake!

This is a great deal. I had seen the $349.97 at Newmarket a few weeks ago. But no more this past weekend.

I recently bought a $150 One S to use as a cheap UHD player off Facebook. For current gen, this is great. Though as someone who doesn't game, it'd have to be dirt cheap for me to use just as a streaming device.

Almost every SDM I've visited recently has had the series S in stock, some stores hide them in the back.

Costco is the better deal price-wise if you need the 2nd controller. If you're getting it from SDM try to time it during a redemption event + 20x offer stack to maximimize savings.

This is a good deal. I can't bring myself to getting a Series S though, seems a bit weak for a new gen console.

Great price, and I love my Series S, but from time to time, here is my findings that made me want to go with X.

1. for S, if dont get the game pass, then the games in the game store are actually OFTEN a lot more than the disk version sold on amazon, bestbuy, shoppers, etc so $20 more here and there, the console price eventually go up a lot higher.
2. for S, if you do get the game pass, that 512G space with 364G usable space, will be able to hold forza 5 103G + flight simulatior 127G + GTA V 87G + a few more games, with game pass, you kinda want to try and play more games, and lol, you kinda have to buy that so overpriced seagate 1TB for $280 drive. many newer/current game has to run on the fast nvme drive, some old games are fine running on USB SSD/HDD drives though. moving 100Gs back and forth for a few times is fine, and then it become really annoying. 1TB will make it a much better experience.

eitherway, haha, microsoft has done the calculation to make money back one way or the other.....

I think the Series S is a Game Pass machine really. It makes a lot of sense financially, especially if you're getting your 36 months of game pass for cheap from CDKeys or Eneba. The SSD space is a bit of an issue, for sure, but if you only play a handful of games at a time, it works out ok.

The thing that bothers me the most is the significantly lower performance. Some games don't even have a 60fps mode on the S. Hell, some games run better or look better on the One X than on the Series S...

Remember, you don't need to move the games back to the HD.

Just copy them when you are moving them to your console then delete them off the console when done instead of moving them back.

Great price, but I can't justify buying a video game now that streaming is becoming better each day. The biggest issue to justify buying a Series S is lack of disk capacity and low storage, issues I already have and that makes me use streaming every day more.

Anyone see this in the GTA? I was going to buy a nvidia shield but this seems like a way better value.

redflagdeals skews towards tech savvy, heavy tech users.... but for most families, especially with kinds under 12, this is a *phenomenal* deal.

even if this just becomes a streaming box w/ Fortnite, Fallguys, Minecraft, and Warzone installed... for $300? with 2 controllers included (at least $50/each)? you don't even need to play for Xbox Live with this lineup.
