[Costco] Yardistry Cedar Gazebo 12 ft. x 12 ft. with Aluminium Roof - 1499.99$

Was eyeing this gazebo for some time. Good price for the start of the season. Lots of great reviews both on CA and US sites.

Too bad they didn’t put the 12x14 on sale as well.

Don't know any contractors, but would like to find out how much it costs.
From what I've read assembly isn't too complicated. The hardest part is installing the roof where 4 people are required.

Here's a youtube video I found with helpful assembly hints:

The roof can be managed with 2 people. Took us a couple days to get it all together.

That's a great price especially considering this is the pavilion model. I have only seen the 12x14 gazebo model for 1799 at my local costco.

Just called 2 stores
No longer on sale. Was a 3 day sale only and they ended it before the weekend because of how busy they expect to be

Can a composite deck support something like this?

definitely not advisable

Depending on the size it weighs 500-700 lbs. Not including the weight of snow in winter.

Yeah I'm skipping it for that reason

Good price. Purchased ours last year and I’m very happy with it. The install is straight forward, you’ll just need assistance with lifting the roof panels up into place.

Don't forget that this structure is over 100sqft so if you've got a-hole neighbours that are likely to call bylaw you should consider getting a permit.

I got this a few years ago. I put all the roof panels together ahead of time, about one day. They I gave three buddies a case of beer to help assemble it. About another 6 hours work. I am very happy with it. Still looks great. Remember to go around and tighten up the bolts the following season.
