Good price. Purchased ours last year and I’m very happy with it. The install is straight forward, you’ll just need assistance with lifting the roof panels up into place.

Don't forget that this structure is over 100sqft so if you've got a-hole neighbours that are likely to call bylaw you should consider getting a permit.

I got this a few years ago. I put all the roof panels together ahead of time, about one day. They I gave three buddies a case of beer to help assemble it. About another 6 hours work. I am very happy with it. Still looks great. Remember to go around and tighten up the bolts the following season.

I’m having a hard time deciding between the gazebo and pavilion. Any advantages of having one over the other?

Most decks built with the correct size of support beams and joists can handle something like this. It's good to check underneath where the posts will sit as there will be point loads in those spots but you're talking about 700/4 so basically the weight of a man standing on each spot. It's not that bad.

Another option with these is building a privacy wall or two on the sides. Louvers would look nice.

Don't think it's an issue since this is open on all 4 sides. But a good idea to check to be sure.

Really well. The original stain is about half give at this point, but it's held up really well.

+1
due to this we build the yardistry meridian 10x10 instead. we just recently paid 1700+tax - 10% from homedepot.

also note the pavilions are higher than the height restriction for ancillary structures depending on your municipality. you have to be careful, imagine the city telling your to remove it once installed. anything larger than the 108sqft, you will want to get a permit.

In store it is 1499 for the 12x14

Not the same one. They had the pavilion style one on sale in store. I was looking at it. Actually a bigger discount as the regular price on that one is higher for some reason.

But I personally like the other style better.

Still hoping the regular 12x14 goes on sale...

I am keeping an eye on the 12x14 gazebo when I'm at Costco. I got my 12x12 delivered yesterday, but need to build the patio first. If the 12x14 goes on sale for 1399-1499 would be happy to grab it.

EDIT: Seems they ran out of their current 12x12 stock as it now says new orders are backordered and will be shipped in mid June.
