[Costco] YMMV. Dynamax RunningPad Folding Walking and Light Running Treadmill $299.97

Saw this in our local Costco in Nepean. So, I guess it’s a YMMV type. Perhaps, good if some just picked it up earlier to have some money back.

Great walking pad, though price seems to have decreased significantly over the last couple of months. Any in gva?

previous threads said it was slightly inferior to it's Walking Pad counterpart.

I'm also interested though (for lack of space) if anyone's seen it in GVRD.

I have one, payed $699 revised down to $499 thanks to Costco policies.

It is worth it for me a an under desk walking pad for a sit stand desk. I did removed the upright bar and changed a couple of things to turn it into a walking pad. very recommended to cram in some good power walk during WFH time! And its size is convenient for a flat.
Do note it is heavy, you are not going to put it away everyday, but you can easily put it away when you have guest or for a good house clean up.

However, if you want a running pad, don't waste your time. you can use it for that, but no motorized incline, 1hp motor, it can do it, the same you can use a Smart car to do a cross continental trip... Know what you're buying. At $299 with Costco customer policy? Go for it.

Have seen these in Ajax, Oshawa and Warden last week.

Did not particularly like the design or the quality.

Well worth the 299 in my opinion. I use it for an after dinner casual walk in front of the tv.
Its truly minimalistic and the 1HP motor is stronger than I expected i.e. no slippage or jerks for a 90kg guy.

Some ppl crossed half of Italy in a Fiat 500. Is doable? Yes. Was it fun? You bet. Was it smart? No.

Is the upright bar optional; can it just be set up without the upright bar at all and it will function? I am interested in using this as an under-desk walking pad as well so I can't have a bar there.
What other things did you change, did you just change it yourself or are there online guides on what people have done to modify this?

Wow this thing has dropped to it's real price after it was hard to get a hold of one.

It's great for walking or for a standing desk set up, not sure about running BTW

I got one two days ago. For the price it's really good. If you care about aesthetics of the things you buy then you will like this. It has very minimalistic design.

It comes with wireless remote which can control speed, change the mode between automatic and manual, and do start stop.

Screen at the bottom will display your speed, distance, and time. If you need more information such as calories you will need to use app. App will connect to machine via Bluetooth.

Max speed this will go to is 5.6 mph which is enough for most of the people. When you are at max speed treadmill holds up pretty well and doesn't make strange noises.

Good buy for $300

No, it has to be up, there is a sensor in the right side of the bar that blocks the machine if not up. You do not have to fully extend it though.

I removed the top part of the bar (no guide online, I fiddled myself) and stuck a couple of cables together and now it believes he bar is up all all time. Basically I disabled all safety mechanisms for comfort ;)
