Fifteen dollars for store made tacos? That seems super expensive!

Lol! If you think $15 is expensive then you haven't been to the gringo owned taco places in Toronto.

The container is probably a lot deeper than what it looks like in the photo. The package says it's 1.3KG. That's roughly 3lbs of food. For $15, that's not bad really.tjindersingh wrote: ↑ Fifteen dollars for store made tacos? That seems super expensive!
My only issue is, I haven't liked any of the pre-made stuff from Kirkland. Everything is so bland.

Flour tortillas? Pass.
Based on the protein portion, that does seem kind of expensive.tjindersingh wrote: ↑Fifteen dollars for store made tacos? That seems super expensive!
Nope. That's why I'm on the internet arguing with strangers. If I had anything better to do I'd probably be doing it.Do you not have anything else to do rather than argue with strangers on the internet

For what you get not bad - flavor and freshness will be the key here.

Tried it today for supper. Saw it in the Kitchener Ontario location. The chicken heated up nice and there was extra chicken left over. My only suggestion to the Costco Canada folks would be to add more of the shredded cabbage mixture.
Overall I was very happy with the value.

You mean less govt subsidies here to farmers ? Yes food here is not subsidized to the obscene extent the US is but still subsidized and lower than actual costs unlike elsewhere in the world
