Crazy lineups at Winners, Homesense and Ikea with reopening

Why are ppl this crazy

Interesting comment re. London Homesense lineup ..."99.9% woman". Some in lawnchairs ROFL.

Ikea lineup...considering how long it takes to go thru Ikea that line could be quite a few hours. Perhaps they're waiting for the hot dog or frozen yogurt/ice cream deal.

I have a few items to return but I'll wait until the craziness dies down. Totally not worth the aggravation. Someone posted a picture of the HomeSense entrance when they reopened in Saskatoon and it was lined right up, cheek to jowl and only one person with a mask on that I could see. No thanks.

I drove by a winners/homesense combo a couple days ago, no line ups, Inside was pretty decent as well, everyone kept their distance or moved along if the aisle had someone in it.

I walked past a Winners today and there was a lot of people waiting to get in there.

I just don't understand it. For Winners?

I went to Sport Chek as we were looking for something and in all honesty I didn't even want to touch the clothes. For now, I will only buy clothes online.

Why are you surprised. Remember 10 k people in the park?

At least those people who line up contribute to the economy

Not sure what the hype with Winners and Homesense is. Nothing too great and prices are ok.

Yeah when the Ikea reopened here (on a Tuesday no less) there were over 200 people in line before it even opened.

And I can see the lineup to get into one of the Winners/Homesense stores here from work and it's nuts all day as well.

Ikea Etobicoke was not bad Thursday, got in line at 10am. In the store by 10:15am. They let a huge wave of people in at first. Checkout lines were long, but quick. They divided the long line into each register. I was out by 11:15am. I had to get some planters and replace stuff I broke over the winter.

I went to my local winners at Scotia plaza today. No line-up and not very many people in the store. I live here but most customers are office workers and the financial district is still dead at the moment. I didn't have to line-up to make a purchase or return an item. I quickly looked around and noticed about half the store is on clearance. Many items are 50% off or more. I saw a Marmot goretex shell jacket for $65.

I've been to that location before. It's always busy. I can't stand home decor stores.

Well, if there is lineup in winners, Apple doesn't need new product to generate line up.

Apple can stamp their logo on a turd and put it in a white box, and people will buy it.
For the box, not for the turd ;) .
(And I mean an actual turd, not one of their real products :D .)

They really need to put in longer hours. Went to the Fairview Mall location 30 minutes before close and they weren't letting anyone else in. This is just getting frustrating.

There's probably good sales since they're trying to get rid off all the inventory that has built up.

Honestly if a line is longer than 20 minutes I wouldn't bother.
