CRTC approves (with conditions) Rogers’ acquisition of Shaw’s broadcasting services

It's a done deal for broadcast services, but WITH conditions...

CRTC approves with conditions Rogers’ acquisition of Shaw’s broadcasting services.

As for wireless, CRTC had this to say (in the above link)

"The home telephone, wireless and Internet services that Rogers is also seeking to acquire are not subject to the CRTC’s prior approval and are being reviewed by the Competition Bureau and Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada."
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

TLDR.

Rogers is cleared to acquire the not profitable part of business that even Shaw is trying hard to get rid of. Media and TV.

But Communication part (Phone, Internet, Mobile) is still pending competition review.

The CRTC is basically run by Bell, Telus, and Rogers. So this isn't unexpected.
How can an ant carry twenty times its body weight, but root beer floats are still delicious?
